Could someone point me to some examples on how this is done in the most efficient fashion?
I was thinking of opening up a file dialog and have the user select the file. On the RDBMS, the file will be stored as a BLOB. My problem is that I'm not sure how to get that .DOC file from the user's filesystem into the BLOB. I haven't seen any commands such as READ_BINARY_FILE. Any hints would be appreciated!
