Does anybody have any smart ideas about implementing a timeout in an application. Basically what I want to do is display a password screen after a predefined number of minutes, thus halting access to the application.
Using just PL/SQL the onlly way I can see if to set a timer on every text-item instance, this may be good enough, but is hardly elegant, and would me the screen would popup if the user was typing a long memo field.
It was easy to do in VB.
Anybody have any suggestions.
