(wrong string) ´t install Designer 2.1.1 - orainst dies

Hi,
I´m using Oracle 8.05 (language German) and OAS 4.07 and wanted to install Designer 2000 V2.1.1. But the Oracle installe allways exits with the errormessage:
The instruction in 0x00d5020f refers to Memory 0x005c004e. The instruction "read" could not be executed on this memory. (translated from german).
Any ideas what I have done wrong?
