Forms 5.0.6.11 Automatic Skip with Dates

I would like to use Automatic Skip for a date field. In the registry I have the following settings:

FORMS50_OUTPUT_DATE_FORMAT                ”DD.MM.YYYY”
FORMS50_OUTPUT_DATETIME_FORMAT       ”HH24.MI”
FORMS50_USER_DATE_FORMAT                     ”DDMMRRRR”
FORMS50_USER_DATETIME_FORMAT            ”HH24MI”

The problem is that the skip is triggered on the "OUTPUT" - format.

I there a work-around ?
