Layout fields getting deleted

The layout fields in my report refers to the database fields as well as computed fields. I also have format triggers for these fields. I compile the report,generate it and save it. I didn't have any compilation errors. All the fields printing the data accurately. I close the report designer.
Next time I opened the same report. I went to
layout editor and find that some of the layout
fields disappeared??? It really sound wierd, isn't
it ?
The computed and the database fields are still
there in the data model.
Now , I went and try to delete the format trigger for the disappeared field. I got an application error, because it lost reference to the layout field.
The other thing is the fields are disappearing
randonly. If in first instance I see field1 &
field2 are missing, next time some other fields
are the victim.
I did a virus check, reinstalled reports builder
but same problems exists.
I couldn't find any way around to this and my
deadline is approaching.
I am looking forward for the solution ASAP.
I can also send my .rdf file as an attachment.
