OWAS 3.0.2 and Reports

Is there any possibility to start MS-Word (on a NT4.0) from an application based on OWAS 3.0.2 for Digital Unix with PL/SQL Cartridge? Is there any possibility to do the same but instead of using OWAS with jacascript or anything alike?
