Discoverer 3.1 looses its folders

I have a serious problem with Oracle Discoverer version 3.1

Environment:

• Server OS: UNIX (Supermax). Database: Oracle 7.3.3
• Client OS: Windows 95. Discoverer 3.1.25
• Connection: TCP/IP, Oracle Net8

Scenario:

Discoverer administrator creates a Business Area and grants access to User, who U uses the Business Area for some time, but suddenly the Business Area does not appear in the list at log on. The problem is unrecoverable.

The problem has variants: Sometimes the list of Business Areas is completely empty. Sometimes the Business Area is accessible, but one or more og its folders have vanished. This is also unrecoverable.

Oracle has no clue. Do you?
