Hi, We have to implement a setup where a Win95 PC client with Oracle Developer Rel. 2.1 (i.e. Developer/2000 Rel. 2.1) situated at a remote place has to access the data from an Oracle7/8 database on SUN using a dialup connection. (This may later be upgraded to a leased line).

Can this be achieved by installing SQL*Net Adapters and if so what is the SQL*Net protocol adapter to be installed on the Windows 95 client and on the SUN Server. Apart from the SQL*Net adapters what are the other underlying network requirements, if any?

Also please let me know if the tnsnames.ora and listener.ora would be different from the normal configuration (i.e. LAN environment).

Thanks in Advance
