Oracle Newbie tries to install Oracle 8.0.4.0 on Digital Unix. During installation CDROM C12976-01 (ORACLE8 EE v8.0.4 (Digital UNIX) we
had the following system-message:
- Starting database using the preshipped datafiles
- ERROR: The 'CREATE DATABASE' statement for the orcl database failed. egrep failed to find 'ORA-' error in the file: /usr/users/oracle/admin/orcl/create/crdborcl.lst
Has any one had the same problems? ideas ..
To run the same installation on Linux was no problem
Thanks in advance
