It took me time to confirm at work.

We use a MAIN Menu with startup code in both forms 4.5/5.0 If you don't enter the STARTUP CODE section you have no problem, but if you look to see - then you have to enter at least a "NULL;", just so you can compile with no errors.
I have not found a way to delete the STARTUP CODE section. This is true with all reports/forms triggers, you must have at least one action event to be able to compile with no errors. In fact we use the NULL action to prevent inbuilt trigger actions in many forms. I don't know if this is a BUG, but it is definitly something to remember. If you need anyother ideas let me know.
