Oracle Designer Object extension

I currently have Designer 2.1 installed on Win NT, I am thinking of installing the Designer Object Designer. I am trying to find out what this is exactly but am havig a difficult time finding ingo onthe docs cd. Does it basically give you Object modeling capabilities? and does it install on top of the original designer or is it totally seperate meaning I have to create another repositiory?
