Blocks based on stored procedures in Forms 5.0

Hi,
I am trying to base a block on a stored procedure in Forms 5.0.
The problem is, I can't get it to work because the cursor needs to get data from two tables.
Is it possible to do this, and if so could someone please give me an example of how the procedure should look?
