Validating of text item using LOV in Forms 5.0

[Quoted] [Quoted] I've been trying to display a value selected from a LOV into a text item. The text item is part of a data block. I can't seem to get this done, each time I click on the OK button or double-click on the value in the list, the text item box still remains empty!!

Can someone please tell me why??
