ORA-302000

[Quoted] I am receiving error ORA-302000 in a PL/SQL block that uses the TEXT_IO package in Forms 4.5. I can find nothing about this error in my Oracle documentation. I read Document# 1020325.6 on the MetaLink site, which explains that TEXT_IO.FOPEN does not write to the error stack for the generic error ORA-302000. Consequently, TOOL_ERR.CODE and TOOL_ERR.MESSAGE give null or zero as a return value. It said this was identified as Bug 339957, and there is no workaround.

Has anyone had any experience with this error? How do you detect the cause and fix it? I'm running Forms 4.5.7.1.6 against Oracle 7.3.2.2.1.
