Storing Digital Certficate in Oracle Database

Hi All,

I am using Oracle 8.0.4 for an web application. I need to store digital certificate in database. What is the best way to store it ( As single VARCHAR2 or in multiple columns or is there any new datatype for this in Oracle8.) ?
