Dev2K Check Box-- Label property does nothing?

The property palette for a checkbox contains properties for Label and Prompt. The first is described as "Text label displayed for item or parameter", while the second is described as "Item's text label". What is the Label property for? Nothing I put there displays on the form. The Prompt property seems to control it all.
