Checkboxes and Shortcuts

Hi,
i've a problem with the shortcuts ( i.e. Alt-X for close form ) when i navigate with the keyboard to a checkbox or a pushbutton. If cursor stands at the checkbox/pushbutton and i type 'x' ( or another character
that is a legal shortcut ) then the form will be closed. I think when i navigate to checkbox or pushbutton the 'Alt'-key is activated,
but i don't know how to stop this.
My System is Dev2000 V2.1, Forms 5.0.6.10.0
