Masking Infinity dates on Forms 4.5?

Hello,
Has anyone got any idea on how best to mask infinity dates within forms 4.5. application, or on the server side?
The problem being, having set end date field to 31.12.4712 (Oracles recomended infinity end date), at runtime, the forms displays this 'ugly' date.
Ideally, I would like to mask this value to display a NULL field on the forms, while the underlying database record value remains set to the default infinity date.
