Forms 4.5 / Displaying a 'status' window

F4.5 on Win/95 & NT. Any tips on how to display a window which reports the status of say a long-running job? I would like to be able to display a window which the user doesn't have to acknowledge and which contains whatever system messages my form needs to display -- is this possible?
