A form run on a 14-inch monitor looks best when displayed at the 640x480 monitor settings. If you want to see how it looks on your 17-inch, you can change your settings. To do this in Windows 95 or NT, you go to Start, Settings, Control Panel, Display, Settings. Then set the "Desktop Area" value to 640x480. The text and font on your form will look huge, but the display area is the same as what your 14-inch user can see.

We develop all of our forms to this standard, since some of our users will be using those smaller monitors, and others whose eyesite is not as sharp will choose that setting even on larger monitors.
