I can't find my doco for the latest version, but I don't think that it is. For Version 2.0 there are filters for AmiPro 1,2 & 3. Oracle seem to be getting a bit behind with their filters. We couldn't get one that worked for the latest version of MS Word, and we didn't really like being locked into a particular document format so we came up with another solution. We approached INSO corp, who apparently supply some material to Oracle themselves, and bought a product called InsideOut (or OutsideIn - I forget which way around it is). This product allows us to filter ourselves any documents. So, we filter them and stick just the text in the database which we know context will always be able to search.

You can't view embedded bitmaps via the OCX viewer. If you want to view bitmaps, you need to retrieve and display the document in its original format. If you want to highlight the text that meets the query criteria within the word document, you need to get the positions of the 'hits' from one of the result tables (the name of which escapes me at the moment) and write a word macro that uses those positions to highlight the appropriate text. I haven't done this myself, but I hear that it is not too difficult.

You may need to do some in depth reading on the context administrators doco. Hope this helps.
