D2K 1.4W -> 1.61: now the enter key doesn't work?

In upgrading from developer 2000 1.4w to 1.6.1 (for oracle 8 for y2k...), regenerating forms has the following effect: the enter key is no longer firing the next-field triggers. It used to be that either tab or enter would work. Our users are NOT happy about this. Same resource file as before. Any ideas?
