Supplied with Dev/2K is a library call D2KWUTIL.PLL - look in the /tools/devdemo20/demo/forms ( maybe different on releases earlier than dev/2k r2.1 ) under your Oracle install directory. This forms library contains many routines to access the windows API ,  including reading/writing the registry, printer and file dialogs etc etc.
