How to see if a form is already running? Forms 4.5

I'd like to be able to prevent a form being run more than once on a machine i.e. have the form check to see if a copy is already running, and if so exit (maybe even make the other form current).

I've seen the find_form function only appears to find forms which have been called as a part of the current application.

Ideas?
