want to download .txt on unix server from form

hello,

[Quoted] there is a .txt file generated by text_io with concurrenct manager in oracle appl. the output is saved in a directory on the unix server. now i want to get the .txt file (name predefined) directly from the server to a client pc using form. for security's sake, the users are not allowed to user any ftp software and are not allowed to know the logon name and password of the server.

dont want to run the file generation process from form on pc. it's going to occupy the machine for a whole day. u know, forms dont run at the background. :(

i really wonder how form can deal with such situation.
