Hello,

We are currently trying out Oracle 8.0.4, and when several people upgraded to Windows98, things just would not work. Those of us who stayed with Windows95, however, experienced no problems. Unfortunately, our solution was to switch back to 95. A few days after the switch, though, I noticed that at the Oracle Store online, one of the supported platform entries for Oracle 8 was Windows NT/95/98. When I just checked a minute ago, however, both 95/98 were gone, so I really don't know what the deal is with Windows 98 support. You might give Oracle a call directly to get the scoop.
