thanx for the inputs! and now the problem is found and solved. the error was caused by an added table alias on the block's base table property. eg. the table name is tbl_ward_order_qty and in the block's property, i make it tbl_ward_order_qty ward. the error message doesn't come again when the 'ward' alias is removed.
