App Transformer Bug

[Quoted]    I am working with Oracle Designer v.2, Oracle 8, on an NT client. I am (was) trying to transform an application from an FHD.

  When trying to transform an FHD with more than 100 attributes, it gives an error. I have called this into Oracle about 2 months ago. They gave it a [Quoted] bug number 680897. Six weeks ago, they contacted us and said that the maintenance upgrade to designer (2.1) would fix the bug. We waited and waited untill today when we received the maintenance upgrade version and to make the long story short; We received the upgrade and have installed...(various ways including a fresh install). It did not fix the problem... We still get the error:

ORA-01480: trailing null missing from STR bind value

   So, does anyone have any further information into this situation?
