Oracle Reports Question - Control Breaks.

[Quoted] Does anyone have a good explanation on only show a repeating column once in Oracle Reports?
i'm using a sql query from a file, and am 'breaking out' the grouping column as described in the Oracle book....
This does not cause the report writer to show a column name only once in a tabular report.
any ideas on how to get this to work?
