Reportwriter

We're looking at replacing Reportwriter for several reasons. The majority of our reports are written using V. 1.1, which is now unsupported by Oracle and is not millennium compliant. However, although we could use V. 2.5, we find it rather unfriendly to use when trying to develop character based reports.

The other options available to us (through Oracle) are not sufficient either, as SQLPlus is not powerful/flexible enough to cope with what we require, and Oracle Reports (RPT) is also unsupported and is not millennium compliant.
We use reportwriter to develop reports for batch processing routines, although having said that a small amount of users do have access to Reportwriter. Received on Wed Aug 19 1998 - 17:56:55 CEST
