Size limit in SQL sentences.

Hi:

I've a problem with the Developer/2000 in a Solaris Environment.

When a I try to execute a Select statement bigger than 256 characters, the tool cuts it to this size.
I've tried to execute the same sentence in SQLPLUS and it's possible; but I have to write several lines, each of one of 256 character as maximun.

Is there any parameter, variable or sentence to modify this size?
