Oracle Installation

Hi,

	I'm new in Oracle installations, and I'm lost.
	I've the Oracle8 license for students. There ara 3 Cd's. The first

containts Personal Oracle8. The second Oracle Developer/2000. And third Oracle Designer/2000.

My question is, what applications of every CD i've to install to run Oracle in local mode?
Only the first CD as 35 applications!!!! I've get to Install Personal Oracle, and with SQL *Plus, work with de database using scott as a login, tiger as a pass and blank in host string. But when I try to do the same with the Developer, show the message: TNS [Quoted] service not .... I know that I've to configure something, but I don't know what.

Someone can help me???
