[Q] how to tell how many record fetch?

i have a base table block and execute execute_query? how could i know if the built-in
fetch any record or not?

it is because i tried create a simple default form with 1 base table block and manaully
execute the execute_query thru key-f7 trigger. in that point, i get form_success = false
when it couldn't fetch any record. but in a more complex form where i am working
on, no matter there is record fetched or not. the form_success always return true?

my frontend tool is form4.5. with db 7.3
