Vanishing boilerplate in Forms 4.5

Can anyone help a relative newbie? My problem is that I'm working on a multiple form application in Forms 4.5 (version 4.5.7.1.6)and boilerplate text keeps disappearing from my forms. It's happening to 2 forms in particular (the 2 most recently created incidentally). When you open the form in designer the boilerplate vanishes but as long as you don't save or generate, and close the form straight away the fmx is unchanged. This is making development of these forms frustrating to say the least. It has been suggested that this is a memory problem (but it does not appear so!) and I have found an article from someone with a similar problem, but this was 2 years ago and in version 4.5.6.1.0. Any ideas?
