Designer/2000 R2.1: Properties in Red font

Also, if I set an attribute format in the RON for an object that is based on a domain, will the new value override the domain setting for that property?

I'm drawing alot of functional correlations between Designer/2000 2.1 domains and Developer/2000 2.1 object libraries. I appreciate any answers that anyone has.
