hello everybody,
here is my problem :
I have a webserver application developed with designer/2000 and
accessing an oracle 7.3 database with a single user, let's call
him alpha.
To start my application, users call the URL
http://myhost.myserver:80/myapp$.Startup
Now I want to identify my users in the following way :
- Get the NT login of the user or ask for it if the user is not
on an NT platform
- Connect to the database with the user alpha and check for the
NT login in a table
- If the login is found in the table, give access to the application
- If it is not, refuse access
can someone give me some clues about how doing this ?
TIA, Zahi.
