hello to everybody out there on the oracle forum !!
i have a great problem with my public view´s which are installed from catalog scripts when installing a new database.
every user can see them (yes i know they are public), but I won´t like
this
querying in ALL_TABLES, ALL_CATALOGS, V$_% , etc.
is there a possibility to reduce the access only to the tables i give to
the user.
they should not see any public.% .
is it possible to do this with a small sqlcode of "REVOKE".
please help me because i think
it is one of the most common problem
which probably every admin, who uses odbc, has.
with many thanks in ad.
