Hello,

Does anyone know of any good tools that will convert an access database over to an Oracle database.

I have used the migration tool that comes with Oracle 8.0, but its a bit crap (and thats being kind).

Today I tried to do the same:
Here are the message I sent to oracle support:

Situations report:
a) Error " A Serious internal error as occured 440" (While "Move Data" is working)"structure & data" on

b) Error ".....(3011)..." when modifing Access "structure" option on

Note:
Oracle 8.0.4
ODBC 8.0.4.4
Access 97
I Sent my database for their checking I'm awaiting for an anwer...

After that I noticed that the assistant creates a ds.mdb that I tried do open...

Seams to me that is Access95 so Access97 (what I have installed) does not let to do the changes... Do not know...

Oracle support has created an Problem file...

Meanwhile.. If someone knows how to convert Access97 to Access95 I appreciate. Perhaps I can convert the MDB file... Perhaps

Please reply directly to me at: balau_at_idite-minho.pt

Thanks in Advance
