ORACLE 8 & VB 5.0 using ODBC 8.0.4.0.0

There is a problem accessing ORACLE 8.0.4 from VB 5.0 through the supplied ODBC driver 8.0.4.0.0. I have found that the Data Form Wizard within VB 5 will not allow you to view the columns in the Dataset when accessing the table. This was experienced when creating a Grid form.

After speaking to ORACLE they suggested using the updated ODBC Driver Version 8.0.4.0.3 and can be obtained at the following FTP site

There are other documented bugs with the shipped version of the ODBC driver.
