Forms 3 referenced procedures VS copyied procedures

I was wondering, if I have a form that is used to contain a whole swag of procedures, and I reference these, then when this form is changed, the other forms that reference these procedures should then reflect the new procedure, right?

However if this is a copied procedure then this is not the case, right??

so the prefered way is be reference, no??
