Using an Excel ODBC driver and a tool like SQLMover you can load directly from (and reload directly to) an Excel DB. Both the MS ODBC desktop driver pack and SQLMover can be downloaded from http://www.sqlmover.com. To make a database in an Excel Worksheet you have to mark the cells involved and go to the name box and give it a name.
