I have some experience with 2.1.1 ont NT and I never experienced listener problems so I cannot help you there. I have had *serious* troubles with the listener, the PL/SQL cartridge and the logger in OWS 3.0, however, so if you upgrade at all, I suggest you go for 3.0.1 where these problems are supposedly fixed.

If your problems pertain to the listener, would it help to swtich to for instance Netscape Fasttrack as front end?
