Forms 5.0 - Security strategies

Can I manipulate objects on a tab page that I have disabled or made invisible using the SET_TAB_PAGE_PROPERTY built-in?

The reason I want to do this is that I have one major text item that will appear on every tab inside a tab canvas, and each one must have the same value as all the others. Right now I have a global variable that I assign the value to one of the items, then set the SYNCHRONIZE property of the other items to point to that item. I'll be enabling/disabling tabs as part of a security strategy, so I want to know if I'll be able to access these items if the page they are on is invisible. Thanks a million.
