Help! Menu Problem

I call a forms 4.5 form from the menu (actually a forms 4.5 menu form)
But when I leave the form to return to the menu I am returned to the root menu, not the menu I entered the form from.
Any suggestions?
We are running under VMS 7.1, ORACLE 7.3.
