Developer/2000 2.0: PVCS 5.3 and Project Builder 1.0

Has anyone integrated PVCS with Developer/2000 R2.0? I've been taking a look at Oracle's Project Builder, but don't know enough about it's stability to decide whether I can rely on it or not. Do I need to use it? Is there redundancy with PVCS? I appreciate any light anyone can shed on this, and any info in general about your experiences with PVCS is also appreciated.
