Trapping Login Failure with ORACLE OLE and VB5

Hello,
I have been searching for a way to trap a login failure from VB5 to an
Oracle7 database using the Oracle Data Control. I have seen the orasession
object, but I do not see how to associate it with my data control. Any else
come across this?
