forms45: build on PC, run on Sun?

Is it possible to build a forms45 .fmb on PC/NT/Windows then move that .fmb to Sun/Solaris/X Windows and run it there?
In particular, I have tried to build the Oracle forms demos supplied (on Sun) under forms45/demos, but:
- f45gen gives errors on some of their applications
- f45run displays the application as a horrible cell-text type application, certainly not a nice Motif one.
Any advice appreciated, especially on how to get Oracle's demos built and run under Motif.
