calling C report from forms

Hi,
I'm trying to figure out how I would go about calling a C report on a Sun Sparc using solaris 2.6 and Oracle8 from a client side application using D2K forms 5.0. My best guest is to write a stored procedure to run the C report and using the forms to call the stored procedure. Only problem is that I don't know how to do either one. Also what happens if I need to pass parameters?
If you can help me out or have a different suggestion, that would be great. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
