The Oracle docs on JDBC were not specific enough. Can anyone help with these questions?
- What security is inherent or available in Oracle7 JDBC drivers (both JDBC Thin and JDBC OCI) communicating with an Oracle7 server? For example, are the connect/logon and data streams across the network encrypted?
2)If so, what kind in each JDBC configuration, e.g., DES 40-bit, RSA, Kerberos, etc.?
3) Do any of these encryption solutions depend on a client configuration file with a "seed" string? How susceptible is this seed to hacking?
Thanks in advance.
