disappearing functions in pll

Just wondered, has anyone had a similar problem, I have a pll which intermittantly seems to loose functions and procedures. I can have it open (its about 600k), and see all the funcs and procs, but saving it to disk it shrinks, when i re-open it there will be stuff missing.
I have dragged them all into a new pll, converted it to pld and back, and
nothing works.
It is very intermittent, and i can see no particular pattern
we use dev 1.51, win 95 seems to be same if i save on pc or on the server
